Why you should care: Having visually appealing materials is important for gaining trust and increasing engagement. However, finding a good designer can be difficult and expensive.
What you need to know: DALL•E 3 is now in ChatGPT Plus. It's an AI that creates images and is amazing for making marketing material. This post has my cheat sheet for using DALL•E to make images and some examples of what it can do.
On with the story…
“Don’t you ever sleep?”
That was my wife two nights ago, half worried and half irritated.
But to me, it feels just like Christmas.
Remember being a kid, waiting for Father Christmas on Christmas Eve?
The way you couldn't close your eyes, wondering about the presents under the tree?
That's me right now, all because of DALL•E 3 being part of ChatGPT Plus.
Honestly, I can't sleep.
Even with my phone tucked away in another room, I keep sneaking out to find it.
I like Midjourney. But DALL•E?
It's a game-changer, especially for marketers like me.
Instead of just making pictures, like Midjourney. It gives life to ideas through visuals.
This means anyone can now create amazing images for marketing. You don't need big money; you just need big ideas.
That's why I'm up all night, seeing what gifts DALL•E will give me.
The image for this newsletter was created at 3am in 4 minutes. I couldn't have done the same in Midjourney.

Run your prompt, use the Cheatsheet below for ideas
Introducing the DALL•E Marketing Cheatsheet
How to use this cheatsheet
Remind yourself to use DALL•E by saving the image on your phone.
Step 1: Copy the formula.
Create a [image type] that will [aim] [with/of X, Y, Z] in a [specific style/mood] for [task/content type]
Step 2: Use the Cheatsheet for ideas to add context within the [brackets].
Step 3: Run the DALL•E prompt in ChatGPT.
The results, when you put this all together, speak for themselves…

Midjourney is great for creating photos.
But DALL•E wins for marketing material.
But…
